Wattisham Hall Holiday Cottages
Our three holiday cottages are Grade II listed former agricultural barns in the grounds of Wattisham Hall Farm. They sit beside a 13th century moat, in the heart of 300 acres of farmland, with grounds that include a walled garden, an orchard with two acres of grass and a children's play area.
Because of the age and construction of the barns, there are stairs and steps to navigate. This statement sets out what to expect, so you can decide which cottage suits your party best. If you have any questions, please call us on 01449 740240 or email enquiries@wattishamhall.co.uk.

All three cottages are approached along a concrete driveway, which leads to a level gravelled courtyard with plenty of parking for each cottage. The gravel is small granite stones, about 5 to 10mm in size.
The courtyard is lit by floodlights until late evening. Our postcode is IP7 7JX, and our what3words address is ///munch.snooze.awaiting.
The cottages are set within two acres of grounds, which are more or less level, and all access in the gardens is over grass.
There is a timber bridge with a large step up onto it, and a narrow path from there up to our small orchard. You can reach the orchard on the level instead through the walled garden.
There are areas of concrete farmyard and farm buildings, and the arable fields are reached along dirt tracks, which can be hazardous when wet or icy.
A concrete ramp leads up from the courtyard to a level concrete path, with small steps into the games room and the laundry room. The tumble driers are about 90cm off the ground.
Another ramp leads down to the children's play area, which is surfaced with wood chippings. The play area is fenced and childproof, but we ask that children are supervised at all times.
All internal and external doorways are at least 800mm wide.
Taps all have lever handles.
Beds are about 50cm high, and toilets are about 43cm high.
Kitchen worktops, cookers and sinks are all about 91cm high.
A removable ramp for the front door, a toilet frame and a seat riser are available for every cottage on request.
