The farmhouse style oak kitchen is a well equipped with a traditional brick floor. Next to the kitchen is a separate dining room, large enough to seat all your guests.
The living area has a traditional oak floor, soft furnishings and a roaring wood burner, ideal for the winter evenings. French doors open up from the living space to an enclosed child and pet safe patio area with its own private Hot Tub and charcoal BBQ overlooking the picturesque and historic moat.
Upstairs you will find a large family room that can sleep up to 4 people. It has a 6ft, Super King bed and this can be split into two singles on request (zip and link) and a single Day bed, with another pull out bed, which can be assembled as another double, or used as two singles. This room has an impressive beamed ceiling with an original ‘flywheel’ which was used on the farm to help mill the grain in he 1800’s. The view onto the moat is quite something.
You will also find a beautiful double room with a 6ft Super King bed that can be split into two singles on request (zip and link) and a cosy, kids’ bunk room with a 2”6’ bunk bed suitable for children and small adults.
Opposite these bedrooms is a large family bathroom, for a relaxing soak and a modern, separate shower room.
All our cottages have their own private hot tubs.
We also have a fully stocked games room and an outside playground.

About Us
Hosts Jeremy & Jo Squirrell live on site and look after the day to day running of the Holiday Cottages along with a large team behind the scenes. They live and work on this family farm and are 4th generation farmers to live at Wattisham Hall and regard themselves as custodians of this farm for future generations.

Wattisham Hall is nestled in the heart of the Suffolk countryside which lends itself to being easily in reach of both historic places such as Bury St Edmunds, Lavenham and The Dedham Vale ‘Constable Country’ as well as the coastal resorts of Southwold, Aldeburgh and Felixstowe.
